Job Title: Engineering Program Manager
Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 9 Months
 
Summary
  • As part of the Health Team, we are looking for an individual who will partner with team members across the company to deliver health content.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to contribute to innovative consumer-focused features, has experience working with content ingestion and delivery, is effective at executing detailed deliverables on time, is capable of working closely with cross-functional teams, engages in open discussion and debate well, and is able to drive to clarity.
 Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical software project or program manager
  • Strong experience in driving complex and multi-functional software projects and integrations
  • Experience in the realm of media post-production, ingestion and processing, spanning audio, video, text and images
  • Experience defining metadata media needs/requirements and developing/adapting tooling to support it
  • Experience with CMSs, DAMs, MAMs, ie, any asset management platform
  • Strong understanding of media file types and deliverables
  • Nice to have - understanding of non-linear editing software (ie, FCP) and workflows
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to synthesize information, simplify complex concepts, and build consensus with large cross-functional teams and individuals at all levels
  • High attention to detail; able to quickly adsorb terminology and understand dependencies across various technology stacks
  • Highly organized; proven track record of defining processes and establishing them
  • Independent self-starter who thrives in complex and ambiguous environments
Job Description
  • Partner closely with the Health Content team, including editorial and video production teams, to understand content production workflows and delivery
  • Liaise with multiple engineering teams to establish technical specifications and processes for media delivery and processing
  • Provide regular status updates to project teams, stakeholders and management, summarizing issues to key points and action required
  • Ensure program milestones are accomplished
  • Communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience
