  • Travel, with prior reporting manager's approval, may submit expense for reimbursements for any travels other than the home-work location.
  • Equipment: Candidate needs to provide personal laptop, until Client laptop is available. For home office, Candidate needs to provide own equipment.
 
Job Responsibilities
Project Planning
  • Lead planning activities to initiate projects with proper scope for the project
  • Anticipate and plan appropriate resources and schedules
  • Setup project in Planisware or CSD Intake/Execution Tools and ensure stages/gates, deliverables, and activities are properly defined and executable
Project Execution
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple simultaneous projects from inception to completion for Corporate Security technology projects. This may include software applications, hardware deployments and may include field work.
  • Develop and actively manage the assigned project(s) to ensure adherence to the scope, schedule, budget, financial requirements, quality metrics and other key objectives.
  • Write/create statements of work (SOW) for vendors and subcontractors.
  • Write/create other project deliverables – such as requirements documents, test plans, and other technical deliverables for the project.
  • Hold clear, concise technical meetings and weekly status meetings while documenting and publishing meeting notes and action items within 1 business day.
  • Ensure all deliverables, documentation are routed and filed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate expectations and status to the team, managers, and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Delegate tasks to assigned project team members and stakeholders, where applicable.
  • Build, develop, and grow relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Utilize appropriate tools (Planisware, Ariba, SAP, Forecasts, Jira, etc.) and processes (i.e., status meetings, WORs, DORs, etc.) to complete and report on the work
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and devise contingency plans.
  • Proactively manage the financial aspects of the project.
  • Conduct site walk-downs or visit physical installation sites, where required, to develop scope and effectively manage the project.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Project Closeout
  • Conduct project post-mortems capturing important lessons learned for future adoption.
  • Ensure project
Qualifications:
  • BS in a related field (Information Systems, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a min of 6 years work experience.
  • Positive, problem-solving attitude with solid analytical and technical skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from management, stakeholders, clients, and others.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative team.
  • Ability to be flexible in the case of shifting priorities.
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
Preferred:
  • Field PMs: Experience in field work related to Physical Security and related Systems (i.e., Access Controls, Intrusion Detection, Video surveillance)
  • Application PMs: Experience working with application development, deployment or product management, ideally within the physical security domain.
