Job Description

Job Title: Principal Program Manager
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Potential for extension/conversion)
Location: Atlanta, GA (HYBRID)

Description:
In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of global, large-scale real estate programs, driving collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall company objectives. You will be instrumental in optimizing our real estate portfolio, delivering innovative solutions, and managing end-to-end program lifecycles.
 
Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and Leadership
  • Lead the development and execution of real estate programs, including site acquisitions, development projects, portfolio management, and facility optimization.
  • Align program goals with organizational objectives, ensuring projects deliver maximum value.
  • Provide strategic guidance on long-term real estate planning, market analysis, and investment strategies.
Project Management and Execution
  • Oversee program schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to established timelines and financial goals.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to resolve challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, operations) and external partners (e.g., contractors, architects, brokers) to ensure successful program execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for executive leadership, presenting updates, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including property owners, local authorities, and community organizations.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, updates, and program reviews with internal and external teams.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure all real estate projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as corporate standards and policies.
  • Identify potential risks related to zoning, permitting, environmental, or financial aspects, and lead efforts to mitigate them.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance cost efficiencies, and adopt innovative approaches to real estate development and management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging markets, and technologies that can drive program success.
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience managing large-scale real estate programs, including acquisitions, development, and portfolio management.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate market dynamics, financial modeling, and property management.
  • Proven expertise in program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CCIM, or LEED AP.
  • Experience with global real estate portfolios and navigating international markets.
  • Proficiency in real estate management software and analytics tools
