Job Description
Job Title: Operations Support Administrator / Logistics Associate II, (Part-Time)
Location: On-site (Location: Buffalo, NY office)
Hours: 25-30 hours per week (Part-Time, Temporary Role)
Duration: 4 months with extension or conversion possibility.
Position Summary:
As we continue to enhance automation and evaluate our team structure, we are navigating through short-term staffing challenges. Role will be on-site, focused on assisting in core operational areas such as claims processing, track and trace, quality ticketing, loss research, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Management:
- Support in the review, processing, and resolution of freight and product claims.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather required documentation and track claim status.
- TQ (Ticket/Quality) Processing:
- Assist with tracking and resolving quality tickets to ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Escalate recurring issues to leadership for root cause analysis.
- Track & Trace:
- Monitor in-transit shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Proactively communicate delays and work with carriers and customers to resolve service disruptions.
- Loss Research (Apple Program):
- Conduct detailed investigations on reported losses, focusing on Apple-specific product losses.
- Compile findings and present actionable insights to the Loss Prevention team.
- Trailer Audit Scheduling:
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating trailer audits to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Work with warehouse and transportation teams to maintain accurate audit records.
- Loss Prevention Reporting and Project Support:
- Help generate routine and ad hoc reports to support Loss Prevention initiatives.
- Assist with ongoing projects, data collection, and process improvements related to security and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Familiarity with claims processes and track & trace systems.
- Experience with Loss Prevention processes and reporting.
- Knowledge of transportation and trailer audit compliance.
Work Environment:
- On-Site Role: Standard office environment within our Buffalo facility.
