Professional Summary:
- In this role, the Creative Project Manager will act as the subject matter expert (SME) on all project-related details-gathering requirements, maintaining project documentation, and providing clear, real-time status updates.
- Success in this position requires the ability to manage cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with project objectives, and drive seamless execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- The Creative Project Manager must excel at balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution, partnering closely with digital business managers, advertising managers, the creative team, producers, and operations teams to ensure that all deliverables meet initial objectives, requirements, and quality standards.
- This is a critical, fast-paced role that requires exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.
- Lead the execution and delivery of medium- to large-scale marketing and creative projects.
- Champion project goals, clarify requirements, and align cross-functional team efforts to eliminate gaps and ensure cohesive execution.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, workflows, schedules, and deliverable trackers.
- Facilitate meetings, set agendas, drive discussions, and document outcomes to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure that project milestones are met on time, within scope, and aligned with stakeholders’ expectations.
- Collaborate with business partners and creative leads to gather and refine project requirements (as needed).
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels, providing strategic recommendations as needed.
- Implement and uphold established processes and project management best practices to optimize team performance and delivery outcomes.
- Identify potential project risks early and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Ability to clearly articulate project goals, requirements, and priorities to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adept at proactively identifying project gaps and delivering innovative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and present materials to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ability to maintain composure, focus, and flexibility under pressure, and manage ambiguity effectively.
- Deep understanding of project management processes, workflow optimization, and creative production cycles.
- 4+ years of project management experience within an agency and/or client-side marketing/creative environment.
- Proven success managing medium- to large-scale marketing, creative, or digital projects from inception to delivery.
- Proficient with project management, communication, and asset management tools such as Workfront, AEM, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and related platforms.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across a wide range of internal departments, external agencies, senior stakeholders, and execution partners.
- Strong track record of driving change, optimizing processes, and recommending innovative solutions in a highly dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
