Job Title: Senior SAP QM Consultant
Location - Remote is OK. Occasional site presence (Atlanta) may be required

Role Overview:
The Senior SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant will lead the design, deployment, and adoption of SAP QM across a complex enterprise currently operating on non?SAP quality systems. This role requires a seasoned expert with extensive, diverse SAP QM implementation experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders—including C?suite executives, business leaders, and senior technical teams. The consultant will serve as the primary advisor and solution architect for all SAP QM capabilities, driving a successful transition to an integrated SAP?based quality platform.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead SAP QM Implementation:
  Architect, configure, and deliver SAP QM solutions across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:
  Engage directly with senior business leaders, executive sponsors, and technical leadership to define strategy, scope, and roadmap for SAP QM adoption. Facilitate decision?making and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Business Process Transformation:
  Analyze existing non?SAP quality processes and systems, identify gaps, and design future?state SAP QM processes that improve quality control, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Solution Design & Integration:
  Develop end?to?end QM process designs including inspection planning, results recording, quality notifications, certificates, audit management, and integration with PP, MM, PM, and EWM.
• Project Delivery & Governance:
  Provide leadership across project phases—requirements, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
• Change Management & Enablement:
  Partner with business teams to drive adoption, training, and change readiness. Translate complex SAP concepts into clear business language.
• Quality & Compliance Expertise:
  Ensure SAP QM processes support industry?specific compliance needs (ISO, FDA, GMP, automotive, aerospace, etc., depending on the customer).
• Continuous Improvement:
  Recommend enhancements, optimizations, and innovations leveraging SAP best practices, new QM functionalities, and integration opportunities.

 
Required Qualifications: 

• 8–12+ years of hands?on SAP QM experience with multiple full?cycle implementations across diverse industries.
• Proven ability to lead SAP QM transformations replacing legacy or non?SAP quality systems.
• Deep expertise in core QM processes: inspection lots, sampling procedures, quality notifications, certificates, stability studies, audit management, and integration touchpoints.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with PP, MM, PM, EWM, and master data dependencies.
• Demonstrated success engaging with C?suite executives, senior business leaders, and senior technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive?level presentation skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions with clarity and strategic insight.
• Experience in regulated industries or complex manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, including Fiori?based QM processes.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Background in quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, or compliance.
• Familiarity with SAP EHS, PLM, or other adjacent modules.
