Food Production Quality Manager
Full Time l Onsite
Our client is seeking a skilled Food Production Quality Manager to lead quality programs across a fast‑paced packing and operations. This role owns day‑to‑day quality execution while partnering closely with production, maintenance, and product safety teams to deliver consistent, customer‑ready product.

- Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily quality operations from receiving through final pack and release, ensuring on‑time shipments
- Develop, implement, and maintain production‑floor quality controls
- Define product standards and grading criteria; calibrate teams to ensure consistency across shifts and lines
- Monitor cold chain and product condition; verify packaging, labeling, traceability, and palletization requirements
- Investigate defects, holds, and customer complaints; execute CAPA with clear root‑cause analysis and follow‑through
- Partner with production leadership to balance throughput and quality; provide real‑time decision support on the floor
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, metrics, and trend reports; present findings to leadership and customers as needed
- Train and coach supervisors and quality technicians on SOPs, specifications, and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement using KPIs, line trials, and structured problem‑solving
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of quality leadership in production, packing, or other operations preferred
- Effective communicator and people leader with a track record of training and team development
- Familiarity with customer specifications and audit expectations; working knowledge of HACCP/GMPs is a plus
