Qualifications/ Years of experience: Seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Playwright, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, and API Automation, with a strong background in designing and building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up. • This role requires a self-driven professional who can independently lead UI automation initiatives, establish best practices, and drive quality across the software development lifecycle. • The selected candidate will have a Bachelor8+'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Job Description: • Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright. • Create and execute automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript. • Build automation frameworks from scratch and define automation standards, processes, and best practices. • Develop and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites. • Perform API automation testing and validation to ensure service reliability and quality. • Utilize Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber methodologies where applicable. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis. • Continuously improve automation efficiency, test coverage, and execution performance. • Mentor team members on automation best practices and framework development.
