Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Richmond, VA 23294 - Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)

Description:
  • The Manager of Clinical Communication oversees Clinical Communication systems, including Ascom, Vocera, Maas360, Intune,cell phone device and plan management, alert, and alarm integration engines and Rauland integration, video teleconferencing, and telehealth support.
  • This role will help develop and implement the strategies set forth by the clinical communications steering committee, focusing on integrated communications, and creating workflows integrated with existing or new clinical communication technologies.
  • The Manager of Clinical Communication provides leadership and direction for the mobility services and video teleconferencing teams in addition to planning and managing all clinical communication technology platforms.
  • This role also partners with various functional Health teams and IT departments to support the strategic vision and mission.
Essential Job Statements
  • Facilitate and coordinate setting the vision, developing a roadmap, and providing operational direction for clinical communication and collaboration programs and mobile devices and applications across the system.
  • Establishing a governance structure which engages stakeholders in the decisions, engages them in the programs and leverages their feedback to meet the organizational goals.
  • Establishing clinical communication and collaboration as a systematic program, driving the program through business and operations
  • Working with clinical users and information technology experts to ensure ideal experiences and ensures that mission-critical and patient-critical applications are working to their fullest potential.
  • Using data and analytics to understand utilization and identify areas of improvement
  • Understanding the mobility industry and working closely with vendor partners, continually seeking to ensure the ongoing progressive improvements in the use of the technology.
  • Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion strategy, programs, and initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health system.
  • Demonstrate personal ownership and accountability for safety across the area of responsibility by role modeling daily key concepts of a high reliability organization as personal work habits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or participates in special projects to support the mission of the Department.
Interview Process: 3 rounds (Initial, panel, final) - final interview onsite

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Preferred Education:
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited program. Related certification preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Years and Type of Required Experience
  • Five (5) years’ experience in relevant IT field.
  • Two (2) years’ supervisory experience.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working with Clinical Systems experience preferred.
  • Seven (7) years’ experience in relevant IT field and five years of leadership experience preferred.
