Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Technology Project Manager
Location: 100% Remote, candidate must be able and willing to work eastern standard time zone.

Duration: 7+Months

Job Summary:
Procurement Technology Project Manager. Candidate will have a mix of strategic oversight, execution discipline, and cross-function leadership.
10 plus years with Project management experience is required. Minimum.
Candidate must have strong Microsoft Office Suite skills sets, PowerPoint, Excel.
In priority order:
Candidates must have previous work experience working in the Financial industry.

1. Program Leadership Experience: Track-record leading enterprise-wide procurement transformation programs; experience managing complex, multi-phase workstreams involving both business and technology components
2. Execution and Governance Rigor: Strong background in establishing and running program governance structures and workplans; experience setting and tracking metrics/KPIs
3. Cross-Functional Influence & Communication: Executive presence and credibility to influence Steering Committee members and peers; ability to act as the “glue” between teams to drive alignment and issue resolution
4. Procurement Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of procurement processes and tools; desire to integrate external perspectives to inform decisions; digital & process mindset to challenge status quo
5. Change Management Skills:
This criteria is less important since this person will be coupled with our change team, however it would still be helpful to have some who has the ability to influence stakeholder communications and adoption, manage resistance, and foster a culture of modernization
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree highly desirable.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills.
• Candidate must have superior communication skills, verbal and written.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
