Title: Strategic Sourcing/Logistics Analyst III - MUST be bilingual (English and Korean)
Duration: 12 months
Location: San Jose, CA 95134 - open to a hybrid schedule, required to work onsite at the San Jose office at least 3 days per week.

Description

The SCM (Sourcing & Commercial Manager) for Direct Materials is responsible for consignment material supply, inventory control, and services for the Solidigm SC&P organization. This role works closely with suppliers on terms and conditions to meet business requirements and owns negotiations related to pricing, capacity, allocation, and business terms to ensure supply continuity and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies
• Partner with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multi-year commodity strategies based on business and market intelligence, long-term category analysis, and supply ecosystem insights
• Acquire and maintain industry, market, and technical knowledge of commodities
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, and performance management initiatives
• Negotiate purchasing contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and pricing for goods and services
• Drive cost-saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory operations
• Develop new supply chain models for new or existing products and services as needed

Qualifications

• Candidate MUST be bilingual (English and Korean)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience in commercial sourcing, vendor management, or a related field preferred.
• Candidates with 3+ years of strong, relevant experience and demonstrated potential will also be considered
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive work through completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean
