• As a Contractor Software Engineer, you will be contributing towards building the next generation of
• AI models. You will play a role in performing a qualitative analysis of data and will also be
• responsible for developing. Python scripts to parse and download large datasets from the web in
• an efficient manner. In addition, you will also write SQL queries to further process the data. This
• role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
•  

 
Responsibilities:
? Develop Python scripts to parse and download large datasets from the web in an efficient
manner
? Write SQL queries to further process the data
? Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
? Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
? Troubleshoot and debug software applications
? Ensure software applications meet quality and performance standards
? Provide timely solutions to technical issues
? Document software applications and ensure documentation is up-to-date
? Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members
 
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
? 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
? Strong proficiency in Python programming language
? Proficient in working with Linux systems and writing shell scripts
? Proficient in writing SQL queries
? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
? Strong communication and collaboration skills
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment
? Experience working on large-scale software development projects
 
Nice to Have:
? Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
? Experience with web scraping and parsing large datasets
? Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
? Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
? Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning concepts
? Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
 
Key Projects/Day-to-Day
Responsibilities: Onboard OSS models and build data curation pipelines using those OSS models
 
Must-Have HARD Skills
1 ML Experience - at least 2+ years

3 Leading XFN Projects - at least 2+ years
