Job Description:
Client’s North America Stores (NAS) Vendor Summit team is looking for Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs to support the Vendor Summit event. We will use this summit to reinforce Client as the retailer of choice for top brands, deepen our engagement with our vendors’ most senior leaders, and showcase new innovation and launches.
This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving event execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process changes..
 
•            They will be focused on content and communication for the team high-level participation, scheduling and developing content
•            Any kind of Script Writing or Meeting Content Development, Developing Power Point for leadership review, Event Planning and event production
 
 
Key job responsibilities:
  • Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
  • Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions
  • Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
  • Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
  • Influence design and development of event content
  • Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
  • Engage other Client’s business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Client’s customers
  • Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence
 
A day in the life
The position is responsible for working with NAS Vendor Summit team to creatively reinforce Client as the retailer of choice for top brands, deepen our engagement with our vendors’ most senior leaders, and showcase new innovation and launches. This includes managing the strategic position of the NAS Vendor Summit by providing direction and implementation of marketing and communication for special events. This role actively develops and implements communication plans and strategies to internal and external senior leadership teams. This position will develop communication and marketing plans, align strategies, produce, edit, and publish a wide variety of content, and requires excellent writing and editing skills
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, communication marketing content or script writing development or event planning
  • Any kind of Script Writing or Meeting Content Development, Developing power point for leadership review, Event Planning and event production
