Job Description

Title: Project/Program Manager I
Duration : 7 months
Location: Seattle,WA

The Client is looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager to help drive impactful research programs. This role will work across multiple internal teams including leadership, science, product, marketing, and legal, while also interacting directly with external researchers to support innovative research initiatives.
 
Successful candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills, along with experience in business analytics or data organization, management, and reporting. They should be able to ensure that large-scale projects run efficiently and effectively by developing program roadmaps and schedules, driving delivery, reporting status, and maintaining high program quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the scaling of external research funding and proposal programs.
  • Coordinate with award recipients and client points of contact (POCs) to collect and share project information with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate workflows, including payment processing and legal documentation.
  • Organize research data and proposals to support the launch of a science repository and a new CRM with custom proposal management.
  • Support the implementation of a new CRM.
  • Leverage data analytics skills to organize data, support metrics reporting, and develop team dashboards.
  • Coordinate the collection of research insights and outcomes.
  • Continuously improve research program processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to research outreach efforts both internally and externally.

Key Projects
Client manages academic research partnerships and the science community. Key projects for this role include:
  • Continuing Salesforce custom implementation (Events object buildout, integration testing with internal systems and the Science Repository)
  • Data migration and integrity management
  • Dashboard development and reporting automation
  • User adoption, training, and documentation


Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of experience in business, business analytics, engineering, or program/product management preferred.
