Job Description

Title: Project Manager III
Duration: 14 months
Location: SeaTac, WA
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide project management support for company projects that involve coordination between various groups both within divisions as well as across divisions
  • Contribute to the success of client by managing large and/or complex programs and projects in accordance with established processes and procedures
  • Develop project plans, charters and schedules that support customer needs
  • Work with customers and business units to define the objectives, scope and project deliverables
  • Negotiate with organizational management to obtain required project resources
  • Monitor project schedule, cost and progress to ensure projects are completed on time and fulfill the objectives of the project charter
  • Communicate program and project status to participants and stakeholders in writing as well as in formal presentations
  • Manage programs and projects to design, develop, and implement new systems as well as process improvements
  • Lead teams in project execution and ensure the project follows established company project management methodologies and standards
  • Ensure that all program and project documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Organize meetings with various work teams to collect and disseminate project information, plan and schedule tasks and resources, generate timelines, and structure a process for consensus and individual commitment for deliverables
  • Work effectively with internal and external groups to ensure successful completion of programs and projects
  • Identify and communicate any unresolved problems or possible timeline issues along with recommended actions for correction
  • Represent the division’s project management organization to external and internal customers and groups
  • Assist with the development and measurement of project management best practices
  • Mentor other project managers
  • Write business cases and divisional attachments
  • Track project issues and risks
  • Provide consulting, coaching and mentoring as needed to other project managers across the company
  • Knowledge of preparing for organizational change
  • Brings out the best in team members by setting clear expectations and building a sense of purpose and energy
  • Positive attitude and professionalism with a great attitude in high pressure situations
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience minimum of 8 years as a Project Manager level III or IV or equivalent experience required
  • 3 or more years of experience in managing Finance transformation projects, or other relevant finance systems and transformation experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience managing ERP projects and successful implementation of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, including project management, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience in project management, including all elements of scope, schedule, budgeting, risk evaluation, quality, integration, staffing and communications required
  • Experience managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects required
  • Experience implementing projects involving process improvement principles and technology integration required
  • Experience working with customers to define tasks and integrate business processes and technology into effective business solutions required
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams required
  • Advanced knowledge of program and project management principles, practices, and tools required
  • Ability to perform at a high level utilizing project management best practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology groups
  • Ability to lead complex program and project efforts to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives/tasks
  • Ability to identify problems and independently develop alternatives for resolution
