Job Description:
The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity
Manage backup, security and user help system
Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions
Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements
Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures
Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery
Performance Measurement:
Performance is measured based on deliverables, timelines, and feedback from the team.
Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in project management with at least 2 years of experience in AI project management (7-8 years of experience total minimum)
Directly worked on / project managed AI product development from end-to-end
Excellent project management skills, including planning, coordination, and risk management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions
Problem solving skills to push the project forward
Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
Expert knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software
Expert knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is preferred
Former Cients or other big tech experience
Experience with project management tools, including Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar
Computer Science Degree – good foundation
