Job Title: Technical Program Manager III/ Biocompatibility Scientist
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced toxicology professional to lead the biocompatibility review of materials used in wearable and non-wearable products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO 10993 standards, demonstrated experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, biocompatibility testing, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities:

Serve as a technical leader in Toxicology and Biocompatibility for all product lines.

Conduct in-depth toxicological assessments, including hazard identification and exposure assessments for materials.

Design and manage biocompatibility testing strategies to address key biocompatibility endpoints and gaps.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure the selection of biocompatible materials and identify safer alternatives.

Develop and drive harmonized biocompatibility processes, policies, and testing strategies across all product lines.

Communicate and engage with leadership on biocompatibility-related topics.

Represent the organization in external industry committees and working groups to help shape standards and guidance for wearable consumer electronic products.
Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Toxicology or a related field with 3+ years of industry experience, or M.S. in Toxicology or a related field with 7+ years of industry experience.

Proven experience in material review, toxicological risk assessments, creating dossiers, drafting SOPs, and developing restricted material specifications.

Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 10993 standards and biocompatibility assessments.

Strong understanding of analytical testing methodologies.

Experience with biological testing, alternative test methods, and predictive modeling.

Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical skills with a creative, solution-oriented mindset.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Board Certification in Toxicology (DABT)
