Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Wayne, PA (can be 100% remote or hybrid if they live close)
Duration: 2 Months
M-F 8am-5pm EST is preferred hours but can come in later - prefer east coast candidates
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager lead you will be working on multiple client projects at same time, and your responsibilities will be to:
• Understand scope of the work and arrive at a plan to complete the project.
• Create a Work breakdown structure for the project and manage the WBS.
• Conduct/ Run kick off meetings internally with stakeholders and externally with client.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure the projects dependencies are resolved.
• Work with customer to ensure the project status is updated and customer needs are met as per SOW.
• Gather work progress information from the team and transform into internal and external sharing status.
• Ensure to follow the project management process established within the organization to execute the projects.
• Ensure the team follow the project management process established within the organization to execute the projects.
• Coordinates the transition of the project to operations team once client delivery needs are met in production.
• Track effort and ensures the cost of the project is under control.
• Ensure the deliverables are within agreed quality measurements before delivery to client.
• Engage in a technical conversation with intenral and client stakeholders
Required Skills:
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in working on multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge or understanding with any of the databases and platforms: Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Ability to solve problems and derive results.
• Customer handling experience is a must.
• Address blockers for team members and ensure deliverable timelines are met.
• Mentor Junior team members to perform the project tasks.
• Experience in leading a project team.
• Experience with Agile principles or iterative development methodology.
• Working experience with distributed teams and virtual teams.
• Working experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Working experience in managing the teams using Database for loading, validation and delivery of the data.
• Working experience with JIRA.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Smartsheet.
• Basic knowledge of data ware housing.
• Experience in handling Lifesciences datasets
