This role supports our Global Capability Center (GCC) build-out, particularly focused on HR-based sourcing needs related to standing up a new location.

Preferred Candidate Background:
- Strong background in HR category management and strategic sourcing
- Experience working with or sourcing for India-based operations
- Ideal (but not required): Experience in health institutions or healthcare-related HR sourcing
- Experience handling multiple RFPs, negotiations, and vendor onboarding simultaneously
Team Integration & Communication:
- Weekly team meetings to:
- Report GCC project status
- Review sourcing request pipeline
- Discuss upcoming and active projects
- Regular coordination with Indian team members and project leads
General Description:
Overview:
Looking for someone with a strong category management and strategic sourcing background and experience in Human Resources spend categories, such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Employee Benefits. Ideally, this candidate has also supported sourcing and contracting in India and has helped stand up a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Global In-house Center (GIC).
Candidate will lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) in support of products and services needed to stand up a Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. Candidate will also lead contract negotiations for selected vendors, partnering with Risk Review Teams and Legal to ensure compliance with Client requirements. Many engagements will be focused on Human Resources (HR), such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Employee Benefits, and HR systems and technology. Other areas requiring support may include Finance (accounting and tax services, Finance systems and technology), Corporate Real Estate and/or Technology Services.
Qualifications:
- A Senior Vendor Sourcing Manager plays an essential role within Corporate Vendor Management by providing business partners with strategic sourcing support, contract negotiation and risk mitigation.
- This position will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with business partners across the firm to develop and execute contracts.
- This role will manage all aspects of the strategic sourcing lifecycle; lead negotiations, as well as collaborate with risk groups and legal, as required on vendor engagements.
- Responsible for the management, editing and negotiation of product and services agreements, NDAs and other legal documents.
- Act as an effective liaison between attorneys and business partners to address issues as they relate to contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and extract complex legal, technical and business issues and act as an internal consultant to facilitate accurate and creative solutions to operational and other business issues is required.
- Must have strong attention to detail, the ability to work across the enterprise or within cross-functional team and have strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications, Outlook and Ariba is required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Tableau a plus.
