Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Imaging Project Manager
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote


Job Summary:
The Clinical Imaging Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates IT and clinical imaging projects across radiology, cardiology, and enterprise imaging environments. This role drives projects forward tmeet defined scope, timelines, and budgets while adhering tAscension PMstandards based on PMI methodologies. The Project Manager partners closely with clinical, technical, vendor, and leadership stakeholders tsuccessfully implement, upgrade, and support imaging systems integrated with EMRs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & Delivery
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate projects involving clinical imaging systems, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
  • Drive multiple concurrent projects (typically 1–4) through all lifecycle phases from initiation to close.
  • Review project plans and coordinate activities to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project deliverables including:
  • Project charters
  • Project schedules
  • RACI matrices
  • Communication plans
  • Test plans
  • Risk and issue logs
  • Manage subprojects and coordinate cross-functional dependencies.
  • Tools, Reporting & Governance
  • Use ServiceNow (PPM) for end-to-end project management, including:
  • Maintaining project records and artifacts
  • Managing resource plans
  • Tracking risks, issues, milestones, and deliverables
  • Manage project documentation using Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.
  • Create, monitor, and manage project budgets and financials.
  • Report project status, risks, and performance tportfolileaders, tower leaders, and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting and address escalated concerns proactively.
  • Stakeholder & Resource Management
  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technical teams tassess computing and system requirements.
  • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, and vendors tdrive alignment, solicit cooperation, and resolve issues.
  • Adapt communication style appropriately for technical resources, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive accountability for task completion, deadlines, and project commitments across resources.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, work sessions, testing sessions, and status reviews; document minutes and action items.
  • Technical & Operational Oversight
  • Provide technical coordination and user support related timaging and IT systems as required.
  • Oversee system considerations including backup, security, and user support processes where applicable.
  • Support projects involving EMR integrations and applications attaching to EMRs.
  • Manage vendor relationships for imaging and dictation solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline required.
  • 5–7 years of IT project management experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with:
  • Clinical imaging solutions (Radiology, Cardiology, PACS)
  • PACS implementations or upgrades
  • Imaging dictation system overlays
  • Experience with EMR platforms such as Meditech, Cerner, or Epic preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge
Basic knowledge of:
  • Computer hardware and software
  • Production processes, quality control, and cost optimization
  • Business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  • Programming and database technologies such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL (as applicable tproject oversight)
  • Experience with ServiceNow PPM and Google Office tools preferred.
Certifications:
  • PMP, PMI certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
