Job Description

Role: Business Systems Analyst - Conga CLM

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Pleasanton, CA (Remote-Occasionally onsite during critical releases)

 

We are looking for a versatile CLM BSA to streamline our contracting processes within a high-growth subscription and consumption-based sales motion. Unlike a pure technologist, you are a generalist who understands the "why" behind legal clauses and the "how" of automated document generation. Your goal is to reduce friction in the legal review process while ensuring high data integrity. You will partner with the Business Product Owner of CLM to help author the backlog of requirements, coordinate testing efforts, and drive the future state of our CLM processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Contract Strategy: Define and automate the contracting journey, specifically for recurring revenue models (subscriptions) and usage-based (consumption) billing.

·       Workflow Automation: Design automated legal playbooks, clause libraries, and redlining workflows that accelerate deal velocity. Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by converting high-level business requirements into clear, actionable system user stories.

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Sales, and Deal Management to ensure the CLM aligns with both regulatory compliance and aggressive sales targets.

·       Platform Management: Oversee the health of the CLM system, ensuring seamless integration with the CRM and downstream billing systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

·       Broad CLM Expertise: Strong experience managing Contract Lifecycle Management processes in a B2B environment.

·       Sales Motion Knowledge: Deep understanding of the nuances of subscription and consumption-based sales motions.

·       Technical Versatility: While we value a generalist approach, hands-on experience with Apttus/Conga CLM or equivalent enterprise CLM platforms is highly preferred.

·       Strategic Mindset: Ability to evaluate how contracting impacts revenue recognition and customer success with the bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by converting high-level business requirements into clear, actionable system user stories.
