Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager - Mergers, Acquisitions, & Divestitures (MA & D) who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology integration and separation projects that arise within clients environment. This role serves as the primary technology project delivery lead for network, infrastructure, telecommunications, some clinical care systems, physical security, and other core technology areas across newly acquired, merged, or divested facilities.
 
Working at the intersection of healthcare operations and information technology, the MA & D Project Manager partners with the Program Manager, key stakeholders, technical engineers and architects, facilities leadership, vendors, and others to ensure technology readiness aligns with each transaction’s Go Live milestones. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects, with multi-workstreams within a healthcare environment and is composed and comfortable in a fast paced environment, driving outcomes across geographically dispersed teams, and exhibits exceptional communication skills.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end technology project planning and execution for hospital, clinic, and ambulatory facility acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures, from pre-close due diligence through post-go-live stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive integrated project plans with detailed work breakdown structures, RAID logs, and cost plans/expense lines - in ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management); utilize this data on a daily basis to anticipate needs, inform decisions, track progress, and holistically manage each project.
  • Facilitate project kick-off sessions, weekly status meetings, weekly project updates, quality checklists, playbooks, and lessons learned retrospective.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across network engineering, telecom, facilities, care communications, managed service providers, and third-party vendors, ensuring dependencies are identified and managed proactively, conflicts are addressed and resolved, and competing priorities are addressed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Track and report project financials including capital expenditures, purchase orders, vendor invoices, and budget variances in coordination with finance and procurement.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and navigate high-stress scenarios with calm professionalism, ensuring clear communication and focused problem-solving.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare infrastructure/IT environments.
  • Relatable experience with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large-scale facility integrations; preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience managing network infrastructure, telecommunications, etc projects from initiation through cutover.
  • Familiarity with clinical care systems such as nurse call, patient monitoring, or clinical communication platforms in an acute and post-acute care setting is a plus.
  • Exposure to Google Suite and familiarity with working in a PPM tool such as Service Now.
  • Deep knowledge of PMP methodology.
