Title: Software Engineer II
Location: 100% Remote 
Duration: 05 months of assignment (with a possibility of extension)


Position Overview

• Client is seeking an enthusiastic Full Stack Software Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who is proficient in TypeScript, Java or Python.
• In this position. candidate will work on building innovative prototypes, proof of concepts, and tools that will shape the future of our technological solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, strong systems thinking mindset, a strong desire to learn and adapt, and experience or interest in AI tools such as Claude or Cursor.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop client applications & backend services using TypeScript, Java or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create tools, prototypes and proof of concept implementations.
• Develop tools and utilities to support planning, development and operational processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring best practices and new solutions to the team.
• Utilize modern AI tools like Claude or Cursor to accelerate development & productivity.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Java or Python.
• Experience in building web applications, RESTful services, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Strong systems thinking mindset to understand complex systems efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive in their approach to solving problems, demonstrate willingness to listen, take feedback and improve.
• Open to new challenges and ready to extend knowledge outside of current area of expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or Cursor.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science, IT preferred or equivalent experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a developer
