Job Title: CAN - Recruiter V
Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid (1–2 days per week onsite)
Duration: 12-month(Possibility of extension and conversion

Job Description: 
The Recruiter V acts as a Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, supporting talent acquisition activities by providing recruitment expertise and partnering with hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, developing sourcing strategies, maintaining candidate pipelines, leveraging recruitment metrics, and delivering a positive hiring manager and candidate experience while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and recruitment practices.
 Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions through knowledge of the business, organization, and external talent market.
  • Manage all aspects of the end-to-end recruitment process and specialized talent acquisition programs.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies by leveraging industry best practices and market data to identify and attract qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of diverse talent to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Advise business leaders and hiring managers on talent market conditions, sourcing strategies, and alternative recruitment approaches.
  • Execute recruitment plans and provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment strategies and hiring approaches.
  • Deliver an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies, recruitment procedures, and programs related to talent acquisition.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with HR partners, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), business stakeholders, and hiring managers to understand current and future talent requirements.
  • Maintain, analyze, and leverage recruitment metrics and reporting to support sourcing strategies and recruitment activities.
  • Promote the employer brand through advertising, networking, social media, and other recruitment channels.
  • Represent the organization at recruitment functions and hiring events as required.
  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet service level agreements (SLAs), productivity expectations, and recruitment timelines.
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks, methodologies, policies, and operational practices related to talent acquisition activities.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and compliance by following established recruitment processes and controls.
  • Lead or support special recruitment initiatives while representing the business internally and externally as a subject matter expert when required.
  • Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of recruitment plans, programs, and practices related to talent acquisition.
  • Ensure recruitment programs, policies, and practices meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with HR priorities.
  • Conduct internal and external research to support recruitment initiatives, presentations, and communications.
  • Keep current with emerging recruitment trends, industry developments, and evolving regulatory requirements, and assess their potential impact on recruitment activities.
  • Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of recruitment-related escalations and issues.
 Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and talent acquisition principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

 Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent training required.
