Business Analyst - III (Salesforce/UAT)
Location: Toronto, ON - Remote
Duration: 11 Months +
Role
A day for this contractor will look like getting upto speed on solution design documentation and business requirements related to features that will be released as a part of Project Lotus.
The individual will need to turn the business requirements and solution documentation into a comprehensive UAT testing strategy along with test scenario identification, test case creation and mock data preparation in a lower environment (i.e. Sandbox).
Successful candidate will be responsible for developing User Acceptance Testing scripts, UAT Planning, Data Prep for UAT and UAT Execution.
Familiarity with Salesforce products (preferably Sales Cloud and CPQ / RLM (Revenue Lifecycle Management) and UAT Testing Frameworks.
Must have skills: UAT Testing Experience / Salesforce Product Experience
Teachable skills: Mock Data Preparation.
Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting Project Lotus by turning business requirements and solution documentation into actionable UAT testing strategies. Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with the Product Owner to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring they accurately reflect business needs.
• Developing comprehensive UAT testing strategies, including test scenario identification, test case creation, and mock data preparation in a lower environment (i.e., Sandbox).
• Conducting risk analysis and documenting as-is and to-be processes, agnostic of specific technical solutions.
• Reviewing technical solutions to ensure compliance with business processes and objectives.
• Coordinating end-to-end UAT cycles to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Developing and implementing organizational change management frameworks, including communication, training, and post-implementation support.
• Writing business-level acceptance criteria (feature group/functional success metrics).
Daily Activities:
A typical day for this contractor will involve getting up to speed on solution design documentation and business requirements related to features that will be released as part of Project Lotus. The individual will need to turn the business requirements and solution documentation into a comprehensive UAT testing strategy, including test scenario identification, test case creation, and mock data preparation in a lower environment (i.e., Sandbox).
Experience:
• 4-6 years of relevant experience at Salesforce or 2-3 years of relevant experience elsewhere.
• 4-6 years in roles such as technical support, project management, and consulting.
Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
• UAT Testing Experience
• Salesforce Product Experience (preferably Sales Cloud and CPQ/RLM)
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Salesforce products and UAT Testing Frameworks
• Teachable Skills:
• Mock Data Preparation
Capabilities:
• Work proactively on customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively at both the business and technical levels (written and verbal).
• Work comfortably with stakeholders at the department or division level.
• Juggle multiple issues, set expectations, and prioritize accordingly.
• Research and respond to customer questions.
• Navigate complex situations involving multiple parties.
