Job Description
- Title: Business Analyst III (Corporate Event Planner)
- Duration: 6 Months
- Extension Possible: Yes,
- Conversion Possible: Yes,
- Shift Timings: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Location: Toronto, ON
- Hybrid work model: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
- Travel Required: Yes
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support corporate event planning initiatives
- Assist in organising and coordinating employee events
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute successful events
- Manage event logistics, timelines, and administrative activities
- Maintain event-related documentation and tracking tools
- Participating in meetings - Approximately 4 hours per week
- Internal stakeholders' communication only
- No customer data access required
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in corporate event planning, organizing corporate events, multitasking, organizational and prioritization, great communication skills, third- party event planning experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets and organizing data.
Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification.
- Experience with AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot.
Disqualifiers
Candidates may not be considered if they have:
- A history of frequent job changes.
- Multiple short-term contract assignments.
- Primary experience as a wedding planner.
Interview Process
- Two interview rounds
- Round 1: Virtual interview (30–45 minutes)
- Round 2: In-person interview (30–45 minutes)
