Job Title: Sr. Supply Chain Scheduler / Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with potential overtime based on workload)

Description:
The ideal candidate is an experienced supply chain professional with a background in shipment scheduling, SAP systems, and GMP/GDP environments who can thrive in an onsite warehouse setting. They should bring hands-on experience coordinating ground and air freight shipments, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring proper documentation. Strong SAP proficiency, especially with scheduling modules, and exposure to S/4 HANA are highly valued. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though an Associate’s with 3-4 years of relevant scheduling experience is acceptable. The candidate should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, comfort with physical warehouse work (pallets, pallet jacks, lifting up to 35 lbs), and the ability to seamlessly balance administrative scheduling with operational tasks
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Supply Chain Scheduler / Associate to support clinical distribution operations at our Thousand Oaks facility. This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in managing inbound and outbound distribution schedules, coordinating logistics using SAP, and ensuring materials are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with GDP/GMP standards. The role requires close collaboration with internal planners, external logistics partners, and cross-functional teams to proactively align on timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts.
In addition to daily scheduling and coordination tasks, the Sr. Scheduler will support operational execution, including booking couriers, preparing shipping documentation, handling materials (up to 35 lbs), and maintaining shipment calendars and dashboards. The position involves routine use of SAP, Excel, and Smartsheet to track material movements and schedule adherence, as well as operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), sometimes in cold storage environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain scheduling within a regulated environment, along with strong skills in data tracking, communication, and cross-team coordination. A continuous improvement mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to compliance are essential for success in this role.

- SAP Experience
- Proven proficiency in SAP for managing distribution schedules, tracking material movements, and generating documentation in a regulated environment.
- Scheduling & Logistics Coordination
- Strong ability to manage complex inbound and outbound shipment schedules, resolve conflicts, and align timelines across multiple stakeholders and systems.
- GMP/GDP Compliance & Attention to Detail
- Deep understanding of working in a GMP-regulated environment with a consistent focus on compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- The Sr. Supply Chain Scheduler / Associate will be responsible for executing and maintaining daily operational scheduling and logistics coordination activities to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient movement of clinical materials. This includes:
- Managing daily and weekly inbound and outbound shipment schedules using SAP to align with distribution timelines and priorities.
- Coordinating closely with internal planners, warehouse operations, quality, and external logistics partners to confirm shipment readiness, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure accurate communication across stakeholders.
- Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation, booking couriers, and verifying completion of all GDP/GMP requirements for material movements.
- Tracking and updating shipment status, calendars, and dashboards in SAP, Excel, and Smartsheet to ensure visibility and adherence to schedules.
- Performing hands-on material handling tasks, including loading/unloading and operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), with occasional work in cold storage environments.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all scheduling, documentation, and transaction entries, maintaining audit readiness and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Supporting process improvement initiatives by identifying scheduling inefficiencies, contributing to corrective/preventive actions, and recommending enhancements to scheduling tools and workflows.
- Providing on-site operational support during early shift hours (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM) with flexibility for overtime based on business needs.
