- Understanding of GMPs, SOP adherence.
- Warehousing exp.
- Material handling experience, Attention to detail, computer, Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Job Summary:
- The ideal candidate for the MCS Senior Material Coordinator role would be one with prior experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or some other GMP-regulated industry, with a solid understanding of GMP compliance and SOP adherence.
- They would need to have experience in warehousing, preferably in a regulated environment, and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and computer literacy.
- The candidate should feel at ease handling materials, for example, 35 lb lift.
- Although a forklift certification is not required, having prior experience would be best.
- Prior experience in Smartsheet, Tableau, or UI Path would be a nice preference but is not required.
- Also, candidates must be timely, dependable, and flexible with the capacity to work independently as well as in a team.
- Resumes indicating general warehouse dispensing experience will not be given priority.
(EW) MSC Material Coordinator (ATO Distribution)
Day to day responsibilities/first 30 days:
- The applicant (if selected) will be one of several Distribution Team members.
- The team meets each morning at a team huddle and reviews the daily workload.
- Division of labor is primarily between Picking, Review/Pack and Metering shipments.
- Core responsibility will be to Pick, Review and Pack/prep clinical product for shipping.
- The first two weeks involve a large amount of SOP reading, warehouse familiarization and training.
- A new hire is typically trained to full competency in 2 to 3 months.
Job Description:
- (EW) Material Coordinator Supports Distribution Teams by performing tasks associated with Picking, Reviewing, and Processing materials required for the shipping of biopharmaceutical products.
- This position requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's), the ability to accurately complete documentation as well as the operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
- Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Material handling associated with the movement of materials within the warehouse, Staging materials for transport and delivery.
- This position requires completing all transactions in a timely and accurate manner, consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and departmental policies.
- Daily workload is accomplished through group effort so the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, identifying and reporting operational issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV?s), adherence to safe working practices and supporting other warehouse functions related to the shipment of materials per procedures and regulations is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of experience
- High school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience
Responsibilities will include:
- Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and departmental policies with strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's).
- Material handling associated with the movement of materials within a warehouse setting.
- Gown to grade 8-9 and work in a classified Dispensary.
- Material handling/dispensing and all associated cleanings. Staging materials for transport and delivery.
- Support and identify escalating potential risks associated with shipping/dispensing activities.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in completing operational activities associated with shipping/dispensing.
- Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Actively participate in Work Center Team efforts as well as Safety programs.
- Provides support during regulatory inspections and be ready to present information to auditors (as required).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, identifying and reporting operational issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Identify roadblocks, bringing effective solutions to area management for resolution.
- Maintain Kanban system for consumables.
- Support ATO external warehouse operation teams and all associated tasks.
- Collaborate with Global Distribution Teams to meet ever evolving needs of the business.
- Complete all transactions in a prompt and correct/compliant manner.

- Must be available to work various shifts as needed (day, swing, weekends, holidays) as dictated by the production schedule
- The ability to work under general direction, seeking assistance as needed.
- Good critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift 35lbs and push/pull heavy loads using material handling equipment.
- Proficient math skills.
- Adherence to safe working practices/culture.
- Ability to support other warehouse functions related to the shipment or dispensing of materials per procedural guidance.
- Ability to adapt to changes in operational priorities.
Red Flags:
- Resumes with only warehousing/Dispensing experience are not preferred for this role.
- Limited warehouse or GMP experience may be acceptable if the applicant has the right amount of education (e.g., BA/BS) and proven teamwork experience.
- Spelling errors and/or poor formatting are red flags for level of detail.
- Limited time on job, attention to detail.
Interview Process:
- The interview is typically a panel interview with members of the Distribution and Dispensing Teams and other Area Managers.
- A phone screen may also be performed.
