Job Title – Sr Data Analyst
Location – Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Duration – 6 Months
 
Job Description:
This position contributes to Client’s success by providing routine support to the Global Supply Chain Responsible Sourcing Team, underpinning Client’s sustainability, social responsibility and ethical sourcing practices. Core responsibilities include data analytics, data cleansing, and reporting.  May provide project support and/or administrative support that helps implement and continuously improve supplier performance of ethical sourcing and sustainability around the world. Models and acts in accordance with Client’s guiding principles. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in making decisions and carries out activities following general guidelines and deadlines. Demonstrates the ability to perform effectively with limited direction. Models and acts in accordance with Client’s guiding principles.
 
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Uses SQL or equivalent programming framework to extract large, complex data sets from a variety of systems to provide analytical structures and analytics
  • Be able to understand complex data relationships and build core data science models independently
  • Preparation for Quarterly Business Review: create templates, dashboard, and report analysis for leadership review.
  • Find data sources and reconcile manual data across thousands of records in excel to raw data from various sustainability and responsible sourcing platforms efficiently.
  • Identify trends in data, develop impactful insights across regional businesses and tell a story through trends.
  • Support carbon footprint calculations, forecast carbon reductions and costs, calculate incentive and cost-share payments
  • Assists with routine projects performing administrative tasks, database mining or projects that support department or functional initiatives.
  • Utilizes advanced technical skills to create dynamic charts, tables, graphs and other presentation materials, sometimes containing confidential content to support functional work, ensuring that the final product has been edited for accuracy including copy, spelling, grammar and layout.
  • Organizes and maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Provide day to day project(s) oversight and perform a hands-on execution role.
  • Effectively motivates and collaborates within their team and across stakeholder group.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to drive results
 
Technology requirements:
  • Proficient in PowerBI, Tableau,and Microsoft BI
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
 
Years experience:
  • 4+ years data analytics
  • 4 + years in a role providing general administrative support for a team or leader
  • 4 + years of experience organizing filing systems and email
 
Required background:
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
  • Ability to take direction and meet deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written
  • Ability to recognize confidential and/or sensitive information and treat appropriately
  • Attention to detail 
  • Interest and availability to work fixed hours in an office environment
  • Self-driven, inquisitive
