Job Description:
- The Onboarding Program Manager will serve as the STL to own Vendor onboarding as part of broader Package Hierarchy efforts impacting Receive Accuracy. The Program Manager will partner with Category teams and Vendors to ensure success throughout the onboarding process. Responsibilities include creating, launching, and iterating on internal playbooks, tracking mechanisms, and Vendor onboarding materials to drive the program’s success. The Program Manager will be responsible for identifying key roadblocks throughout the process and proposing mitigation strategies as needed in partnership with category and product teams.
Day to Day Rhythm:
- Help kick off how this program is managed, we don’t have all the mechanisms,
- Maintain and update the central tracker that measures and monitor the progress as they onboard through the solution
- Monitor vendor progression
- Seek to understand dependencies moving forward and analyze what solution is needed to make progress towards a solution (Do we need more data, more contact etc)
- Track, report and follow-up with teams to make sure progress is being made on the issues at hand (Vendor issues)
- Meticulously document issues and present to the leadership team
- Tools: Not specific, we have our own systems, uses QUIP.
Required Skills:
- 5-8 years of project management specific to retail consumables, supply chain, ecommerce, or consumable manufacturing
- PM with proven experience onboarding a volume of vendors, company is HUGE and you will be working with 20+ vendors day to day in addition to the internal teams
- PM who’s coordinated with vendors, multiple internal teams, and technical teams (huge emphasis on technical teams)
- Required education or certifications: Bachelors Must Have, PMP Nice to have
- Proven experience tracking team’s efforts, progress and tracking solutions
Must Haves:
- 5-8 years of project management specific to retail consumables, supply chain, ecommerce, or consumable manufacturing
- Expert in vendor and issue management (Vendor onboarding)
- Expert in Asana, JIRA or confluence (Any PM tool, uses Quip)
