Job Description

Job Title: Technical Project Manager III
Duration: 12 months
Location: Menlo Park CA ; Seattle WA

 
Description:
 Technical Program Manager with 5+ years of experience delivering complex software programs involving large engineering teams and preferably with familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
 
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • Experience working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure stack and services and delivering tech / software-as-a-service programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership. Experience working in a global fast-paced environment and under tight timelines to deliver high-quality results
  • Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
  • Experience in dealing with complex system design issues Ideally experience with project with high implications on privacy/policy regulation.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to drive execution on system design changes for business messaging products.
  • Support engineering teams execution by proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies or escalating, helping with end-to-end project management and driving the cross-team execution
  • Drive internal process improvements and remove gaps across multiple teams to ensure teams are unblocked to work on high-impact projects
  • Identify key metrics/measures and milestones for the process areas that will be used to evaluate success.
  • Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.
  • Report progress on goals and milestones at regular cadence and develop collaboration across teams and functions and Provide Consistent, Accurate and Timely Updates of the Program Status
  • Highlight project dependencies and adjust plans accordingly where needed
  • Establish and manage reporting across multiple work streams and/or project teams to provide executive-level summaries
  • Work with stakeholders to gather updates and synthesize information into a digestible format
  • Assist with general communications and documentation needs for the team
  • Display effective organization skills and manage multiple and often competing priorities
  • Demonstrate sharp attention to details in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables in the allotted time frame
  • Integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams in order to analyze complex issues mitigate risks and solve problems

At least 2 interviews -- 45 min each -- first one focused on the candidate sharing their technical experiences where they were directly responsible for designing or have a strong input into any technical component, system , product etc... and second one on experiences where they executed (as a project or program manager) large complex projects or programs
