Position Title: Machine Operator I
Work Location: San Diego CA 92121
Assignment Duration: 5 Months
ork Schedule: 6am-2:30pm/M-F
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will operate manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks
• Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required
• Assist in Preventative Maintenance PM following procedures
• Support material handling as necessary
• Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers
• Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
• Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules
• Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above
• Accept full accountability for product quality
• Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday
• Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation
• daily machine operation of several machines, operations start up, recording data and process checks, maintaining proper documentation, closing of work orders and changeover to new orders/processes

Qualification & Experience:
• Great communications skills, asks questions when things are unclear, Respect for others, Aptitude to grow
• Teachable skills: machine operation and proper documentation practices
• Optional skills: troubleshooting skills, leadership skills

Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable):
Physical requirements? Lift up to 50 lbs,; will be on feet in 2 hour increments, excessive repetitive movements, must wear PPE. They will be operating machinery... use a pallet jack.

Additional Information (If Applicable): Extension possible. High possibility of assignment extended. Volunteer OT. No weekend work.
