Job Title: Operations - Trade Management - Analyst

About the Role
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to clients globally. The division provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and reputation—developing the processes and controls that make every trade, product launch, and completed transaction flow smoothly.
As part of the investment management arm, the Trade Management team has primary responsibility for mitigating risk throughout all aspects of trade flow, settlement, and collateral management. By building deep relationships with trading desks, technology, brokers, and clients, Trade Management oversees existing business operations and implements solutions for new products, strategies, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Connect daily with traders and brokers to resolve issues and ensure timely settlement of trades.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with traders, strategists, clients, and technologists to mitigate risk.
Identify and resolve complex trade flow issues, accounting discrepancies, and transactional errors.
Leverage quantitative skills to analyze and decompose processes, improving business controls and operational scale.
Showcase project management leadership to support cross-product initiatives and enhance relationship management.
Provide insightful business analysis and reporting to senior leadership upon request.
Partner with internal teams to advance trade capture capabilities and develop expertise in complex transactions.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with web-based applications.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Proven analytical skills, control-oriented mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
Communication & Client Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build global relationships, manage client expectations, and communicate complex issues persuasively.
Execution & Ownership: Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong deadline management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Professional Integrity: Strong judgment in managing confidential information and leading projects to successful conclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior work experience within financial services.
Familiarity with financial industry platforms and infrastructure (e.g., DTC, SWIFT, DTCC).
