Job Title: Java Full Stack Engineer (Senior) Location: Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA - (Onsite) Duration: 15 Months
Job Summary Seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer with 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, and database technologies, along with the ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
Required Skills: Java 8/11/17+ Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security Microservices Architecture and REST APIs Angular (preferred) or React TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 MongoDB and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) Git and Agile/Scrum experience Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Devin, Windsurf) is a plus.
Preferred Skills AWS or Azure Docker, Kubernetes RabbitMQ or Kafka CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions Automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress)
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications. Build scalable microservices and REST APIs. Develop modern UI components using Angular or React. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders. Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews. Support production deployments and issue resolution.
