1. Optical Engineer with a strong emphasis on time in the lab.
2. Preference for 5+ years of experience. Hands on focus with strengths in optical systems, validation and qualification with experience in prototype or product mechanical and electrical bring up, qualification and calibration;

Summary

• Support platform bring up, qualification and calibration of test platforms to support the eye tracking novel architectures team. Component level testing and qualification, knowledge of optical systems and lab tools such as spectrophotometer, haze guard. System bring up experience with assembly, electrical debug and FW bring up and calibration. Willingness to learn additional skills and self directed is a must. Documentation and communication skills is a must in a highly cross functional environment.

Qualification:

• Knowledge of optical design tools such as Zemax, FRED or ASAP.
• Experience in applied research and/or product development of optics or photonic systems.
• Experience with one or more of the following optics technologies: illumination, radiometry/photometry, stray light analysis, physical optics, or imaging.
• Advanced degree in the field of Optical Sciences, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with system debug, root cause analysis.
