Job Description:

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contingent Worker to join our team as a key contributor in the development of Augmented Reality (AR) display systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with documentation, build data management, validation reporting, and optical analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team of engineers. 

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation:
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for AR display systems, including system architecture, component specifications, and test procedures.
  • Develop and update documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
Build Data Management:
  • Collect, organize, and analyze build data from various sources, including manufacturing, testing, and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, or other tools to manage and track build data.
Validation Reporting:
  • Assist in developing and implementing validation plans, protocols, and reports for AR display systems.
  • Analyze and interpret data from validation tests, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Optical Analysis:
  • Perform first-order optical analysis and calculations to support the design and development of AR display systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement optical test plans, procedures, and protocols. 
Must-Have Skills:
  • Experience with database management and data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, or Python
  • Strong understanding of optical principles, including wave propagation, diffraction, and polarization.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, LaTeX, or MadCap Flare
Nice to Have:
  • Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Python, C++, or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of AR/VR technologies, including display systems, optics, and sensors
Years of Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the field of AR/VR or optics
Degrees/Certifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
How many rounds of interviews?
  • 1 round, possibly 2
