Job Title: Business Analyst V
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote (PST) / Onsite- Redmond, WA preferred
Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining vendor relationships and supporting non-IT projects by performing key analytical and administrative functions. This role operates above the administrative level but below management, ensuring effective project execution. Responsibilities include managing project processes such as goals, deadlines, metrics, and budgets. The Business Analyst typically reports to a Project Manager or Director.
Job Responsibilities:

Review and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.

Approve project and work breakdown structures.

Review and approve documentation of business processes.

Approve project budgets and expenditures; monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.

Identify potential budget overruns and recommend solutions.

Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, clients, and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.

Prepare sub-agreements and review/input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contract compliance.
Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

Proficiency in applying accounting and mathematical principles as needed.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate business trends and forecast revenues and expenses.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with enterprise applications is a plus.
Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
