Pay Rate: $13.65 / Hourly
Summary:
The Pharmaceutical Operator I is responsible for manufacturing various granulation processes, tablet coating, and operating related equipment according to the manufacturing order and in accordance with current good manufacturing practices. The areas under their responsibility include granulation, screening, drying, and tablet coating.

Summary:
The Pharmaceutical Operator I is responsible for manufacturing various granulation processes, tablet coating, and operating related equipment according to the manufacturing order and in accordance with current good manufacturing practices. The areas under their responsibility include granulation, screening, drying, and tablet coating.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Cleaning, Set Up and Operation of all equipment related to Manufacturing process.
- Responsible for receipt, verification and usage of raw materials to be used within the process.
- Responsible to follow manufacturing order instructions, basic operating procedures process related and procedures related to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Responsible for quality, productivity and process efficiencies under execution.
- Responsible for sampling requirements of the process.
- Responsible and knowledgeable of equipment operation such as weight scales, mixers, granulators, milling, sifters, ovens and blenders. Also, knowledge in solution preparation.
- High School Diploma and two (2) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or completed Technical Degree in Science, Mechanic and/or Instrumentation with zero (0) to six (6) months of experience.
- Availability to work ALL shifts, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
- Basic mathematics and preferably knowledge in pharmaceutical areas or related industry.
- Basic knowledge of cGMP and Safety in handling materials.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Basic knowledge in the pharmaceutical field or related industry.
- Mechanical skills.
- Perform their function within the requirements of the supervisor or designated authority.
