Summary: Under the direction of the company Finance Manager, the Associate Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis processes, including the development, coordination, analysis, and preparation of the Latest Best Estimate (LBE), management reporting submissions, and the monthly Demand Planning cycle. The role also provides financial guidance and expense forecasting support to Product Managers, ensuring informed decision-making and effective resource allocation. In addition, the Associate Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reasonableness of financial data, while ensuring compliance with Corporate and Division financial policies, procedures.This position serves as a key business partner to the General Manager, Finance Manager, Marketing Manager, and Product Managers, and collaborate closely with company International Planning and Accounting teams to support business objectives and drive financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Support the preparation and submission of the Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and related financial forecasts, including P&L analysis, price, standard cost, and Demand Planning process.
Support Product Managers with expense variances.
Produce month-end reporting packages and reports according to the monthly reporting calendar.
Assist in the completion of Financial Reporting requirements by the due dates.
Fulfill internal and external audit and corporate requests.
Perform Balance Sheet analysis.
?Monthly Responsibilities
Complete various Financial Reporting requirements by the due dates.
Perform Demand Planning analysis of variations.
Upload into SAP the Demand Planning cycle for the coming months.
Assist with local month-end procedures, including completion of P&L.
Complete end-of-month journal entries, including Commissions, Bonus, HCP, Revenue Recognition, and Rebates.
Quarterly – Plan / RLBE Submission
Assist in the preparation of the Plan / RLBE submission, including:
Prepare and coordinate LBE, including SG&A, A&P, HCP, and brand-level P&L analyses, as well as the development of activity-based budget reports and financial summaries for each brand.
Support the Demand Planning process by analyzing and uploading SKU-level forecasts based on approved LBE assumptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy, evaluate demand trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support effective inventory and business planning decisions.
Collaborate closely with Marketing teams by providing accurate A&P investment and sales performance data to support activity planning, budget allocation, and the preparation of brand activity charts and business review.
Review accuracy and completeness of the RLBE/PLAN Package.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
From 1 to 3 years of experience in related tasks.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP, Power BI
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and data integrity.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall business systems and computer skills.
Solid understanding of financial planning processes and experience working with financial reporting and planning systems.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and commitment to meeting timelines and business objectives.
Maintains high personal standards of performance, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
