Shift: Work schedules are subject to change and may include, but are not limited to, the following shift:

  • Administrative Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  

Job Description
A Logistics Associate is responsible for coordinating the inbound shipment, storage, and distribution of third-party cargo as it moves through the warehouse.
American Storage & Distribution is looking for an associate to assist with the management of supply chain activities. You will support our clients in coordinating cargo transport and storage. Your duties will include communicating with clients, carriers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate receipt into the warehouse or pickup from port; maintaining up-to-date shipment records; tracking inbound and outbound shipments; and managing on-hand inventory. A successful Logistics Associate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage the hectic flow of incoming and outgoing documentation with minimal supervision.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities:
 
The role of Logistics Associate is expected to, among other evolving tasks and responsibilities, carry out the following:
  • Coordinating with clients, carriers, and warehouse personnel
  • Assisting customers in tracking and resolving shipment issues
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments and related documents
  • Collecting relevant cargo data, including MSDS and COAs
  • Producing pick lists for outbound cargo and coordinating timely order preparation with warehouse personnel
  • Plan and communicate efficient delivery routes as needed
  • Maintaining clear records on all cargo movements – inbound, outbound, and within the warehouse
  • Producing accurate invoices for relevant cargo movements
  • Assisting with training of newly employed workers
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Bilingual (ES, EN)
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics or willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Excellent presentation, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
