Job Description
SUMMARYUnder direct supervision, performs processes according to Standard Operating Procedures in the Manufacturing area.FUNCTIONS1. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment2. Set up and prepare equipment for operation3. Responsible for internal support operations (e.g. stocking items, autoclaving, tracking inventory)4. Assist in manufacturing operations5. Prepare media and buffers and/or dispense raw materials and record transactions in appropriate system(s).6. May operate process automation and building monitoring systems.7. May act as safety representative8. Understand and follows procedures9. Document activities as appropriate (i.e., MPs and logs) using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)10. Comply with cGMPs11. Comply with safety requirementsKNOWLEDGE1. Basic knowledge of set technical/functional procedures pertaining to own area2. Established knowledge of routine activities within own job3. Applies basic job skills and knowledge of procedures and processes 4. Completes a variety of assignments (e.g., performing routine lab support procedures, operating specialized equipment)5. Typically recurring tasks and standardized activities6. Recognizes when deviation from accepted practice is requiredPROBLEM SOLVING1.
