Job Description

Location: Juncos, PR
Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hourly

Summary:
Under general supervision, performs manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on operations, set-up, clean, sanitize and prepare media and buffers per procedures.
  • Perform and monitor critical processes.
  • Execute routine validation protocols.
  • Comply with GMP's5. Regularly draft and revise routine documents (e.g. MPs, SOP's, and technical reports).
  • Initiate Quality incidents.
  • Identify and recommend improvements related to routine functions and implement after approval.
  • Basic troubleshooting.
  • Recognize & accurately report problems.
  • Direct operators on critical processes.
  • Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (e.g. equipment logs, routine area audits, batch records).
  • May train staff to perform hands-on tasks.
  • May act as safety representative.
  • May assist with system ownership responsibilities.
  • Other functions may be assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school/GED + 2 years of manufacturing work experience OR Associate’s + 6 months of manufacturing work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business Administration.
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift in support of operations that may include 24/7. Availability to work non-standard shifts, holidays, weekends, as per business needs.
  • Experience in the manufacturing field, GDP and GMP environment experience.
  • Manufacturing areas sanitizations.
  • Knowledge in areas like:
    • Solution Preparations
    • pH and Conductivity determinations
    • SAP systems
    • Technical Writing skills
  • Ability to assemble, disassembles, operate and understand complex equipment per procedures.
  • Experience with lab equipment and computers.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Quality and safety oriented mindset.
  • Fast learner.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.
  • Clear, concise writing skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Basic problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact constructively with peers.
