Job Title: Senior Manager, Marketing Event
Duration: 6 months contract

Description:
The Senior Manager, Marketing Events is a key member of the Experience Marketing team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of external, high-profile event programs attended by company customers, prospects, sponsoring partners, analysts, and employees. The purpose of these events is to increase brand awareness, develop and advance the company’s sales pipeline, and educate and empower attendees.
As Senior Manager, Position Overview:
Marketing Events, you will lead the planning and execution of our Ancillary events at company’s Rising. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external event agencies, and key stakeholders to create seamless and impactful experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event professional with a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. You’ll need exceptional project management skills, an eye for detail, and a positive, can-do attitude to ensure the success of these critical events.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of our Tier 1 Ancillary Events at company Rising, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
- Manage the coordination of event logistics, including vendor management, signage, F&B and technology needs.
- Oversee event agencies and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams (field marketing, sales, alliances, etc.) to align event objectives with broader business goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders involved in event planning.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for event goals.
- Regularly update stakeholders on event progress, risks, and timelines, and proactively manage expectations.
- Develop detailed event timelines, manage key milestones, and track progress across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure all event-related tasks are completed on time, with clear accountability across all teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges, ensuring all event components are executed seamlessly.
- Lead the on-site execution at company Rising, ensuring all logistics are in place for a smooth event experience.
- Oversee event setup, registration, content delivery, and guest experiences, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event debriefs and share detailed reports on event outcomes, including attendance, engagement, and survey feedback.
- Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement in future events.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in event planning, with a focus on large-scale corporate or industry events.
- Proven experience managing flagship events, such as conferences, trade shows, or large gatherings (15,000+ attendees).
- Experience working with event agencies and managing vendor relationships.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Exceptional project management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, with a "can-do" attitude.
- A deep understanding of event logistics, production, and technology requirements.
