Tilte: IT Project Manager (Oracle EBS) Locations: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 2.5 Months
Duties and Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end Oracle EBS upgrade lifecycle, including planning, design, build, testing, deployment, hyper care, and project closure. • Develop and manage the integrated project plan, milestones, critical path, resources, budget, dependencies, and delivery schedule. • Establish and manage project governance, status reporting, decision-making, escalation, change control, and RAID management. • Coordinate Oracle EBS application, database, infrastructure, integration, security, customization, environment, and third-party compatibility activities. • Lead testing governance across SIT, regression, performance, security, and UAT, including defect management and business readiness. • Develop and manage cutover plans, mock cutovers, go/no-go criteria, production deployment, command-center activities, and post-go-live stabilization. • Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans, escalating critical items as appropriate. • Facilitate executive steering committees, project governance meetings, and cross-functional workstream alignment while providing clear project health and milestone reporting. • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, Oracle resources, implementation partners, and third-party vendors, ensuring accountability for deliverables and commitments. • Manage project financials, forecasts, schedule performance, resource capacity, project metrics, documentation, and executive dashboards
Key Skills:
Must-Have Qualifications: • 10+ years of IT project or program management experience, including large enterprise application implementations, upgrades, or transformations. • Hands-on project management experience leading at least two full-lifecycle Oracle EBS upgrade or major Oracle EBS transformation. • Demonstrated experience leading application or ERP upgrades in mid- to high-complexity enterprise environments, including multiple workstreams, integrations, business functions, and technical dependencies. • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, integrations, customizations, environments, and upgrade dependencies. • Experience managing upgrade activities including impact assessments, customization remediation, integration and regression testing, UAT, performance testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare. • Demonstrated experience managing large cross-functional teams and complex, multi-workstream enterprise projects. • Strong experience with integrated project plans, RAID logs, dependency management, change control, cutover planning, and executive reporting. • Experience managing implementation partners, consulting organizations, and third-party vendors. • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, risk management, and problem-solving skills. • Working knowledge of SDLC, release management, testing methodologies, and IT change-control processes. • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent. • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience managing Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x upgrades. • Familiarity with Oracle EBS functional areas, integrations, customizations, and supporting Oracle technologies. • Experience working in regulated environments and with global or multi-business-unit deployments. • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or similar project/program management certification. • Experience with Past client exp is is a plus.
