Data Entry Analyst
6 Months
Phoenix, AZ 85001 (REMOTE)
Shift Time: Monday - Friday, they need to work AZ hours, 8am to 5pm
Initial interview a thirty (30) minute MS-Team video discussion.
Role: This temporary role supports the eCommerce team by transferring product and related data from spreadsheets into an eCommerce platform. The contractor will ensure data is entered accurately, formatted appropriately, and reviewed for completeness and correctness. The work involves routine data entry, copy/paste tasks, and basic Excel use, and requires strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Information:
- Will work on updating the client’s website by collecting content information from various entities.
- Primary technologies utilized are Smartsheet and MS-Office.
- General understanding of AI (Artificial Intelligence) a plus, not mandated.
- Emphasis on loading content and ensuring data accuracy.
- Ideal candidate would possess 1+ years of data entry or similar experience.
- Soft skills include working independently, problem solving, attention to detail, adaptability, time management and solid communication skills.
Project Overview
- The team is currently updating a website focused on hotel-related content.
- Work involves collecting and organizing detailed information about hotels.
- Data categories include:
- Hotel descriptions
- Guest experiences
- Amenities such as dining, spa, etc.
- Information will be managed through spreadsheets (SmartSheets and similar tools).
- The data needs to be well-organized and structured across multiple topics.
- Primary focus is North America, with some involvement on the international side.
Role Objective
- Support in data collection, organization, and structuring for hotel-related content.
- Assist in building and maintaining large datasets across various categories.
- Contribute to potential side projects related to the same domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and compile hotel-related data across multiple categories
- Organize and maintain structured datasets in spreadsheets
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of collected information
- Work independently on assigned tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Support AI-related tasks when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years required
- Core Skills:
- Problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (not mandatory)
- SmartSheet (preferred but teachable)
- AI Exposure:
- Basic familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
- No expert-level experience required
Work Structure
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: Flexible (8:00–5:00 or 7:00–4:00 depending on preference)
