Job Description
Job Title: System/Software Technician-I
Duration: 6 Months Assignment
Location: Oakland, CA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Description:
- Carry out the bring-up, calibration, testing, and logging of new advanced technologies, working inside and outside at a closed course test track in Oakland.
- Report to the Team Lead and be a core member of the End Of Line Team.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to improve the product, including hardware, product, and software.
- Execute and document tests to verify autonomous technologies, including understanding behavior, product capabilities, new and existing issues, and added requirements.
- Rigorous attention to process, testing programs, and checklists, ensuring high levels of safety as well as efficiency and reliability of new products.
- Regularly communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess robot behavior and triage issues.
Required Skills/Attributes:
- You have 2 years of experience or strong interest in the space.
- Familiar with automotive and/or computer systems.
- Strong problem solving, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working outside.
- Strong organizational and process skills, comfortable with following detailed test plans.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools to collect feedback, schedule fixes, and track progress.
- This role requires you to be comfortable with riding an electric bike.
Preferred:
- Experience and enthusiasm with live Field Operations for deployment of products, bonus if related to autonomous vehicles.
