Job Description
Title: Security Engineer (Endpoint)
Location: North Chicago, IL preferred (Open for remote as well)
Assignment Length: 2 years
Job Description:
Provides technical implementation and life cycle support of various solutions in endpoint security. Applies IT knowledge, specialized technical experience, research, and analysis. Knowledgeable in common tools that support the area of expertise. Drives implementation and provides technical support for escalated incidents and problems. Monitors and reports task assignment progress and status as required and escalates risks and issues to key stakeholders. Proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, tools and engineering methods that are applicable within area of responsibility and expertise. 3-5+ years of experience required.
Position:
• Works as member of the Endpoint Threat Management Administration team.
Required Skills:
• Support and troubleshooting of client-side security software.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software related issues.
• Microsoft Intune Endpoint Security Administration.
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Management.
• Microsoft Defender Antivirus / Firewall & Disk Encryption (BitLocker) Management, Microsoft DLP Endpoint is a plus
• Operating Systems Experience
• Windows Workstation & Server, Linux, MacOS
• Troubleshooting
• Additional experience with other security products a plus.
• No specific education or certifications required – but will be considered.
Skills/experiences that are an advantage to have (but not required):
• Trellix (formerly McAfee) MNE/MDE/FRP/DLP, CrowdStrike Falcon, Service Now, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API
