Position Title: Research Nurse
Work Location: North Chicago, Illinois, 60030
Assignment Duration: 06+ Months
Work Schedule: 7-3:30 pm M-F, some opportunities to work on weekends on occasion
Work Arrangement: On-site

Position Summary:

• This role participates in the recruitment and screening activities to ensure successful enrollment of volunteers into studies scheduled at the Phase 1 Unit.
• Interfaces with research participants, to support efforts to determine eligibility and consenting of study participants according to protocol (R/S).
• The role interacts with the Principal Investigator and other study physicians, Recruiting/Screening department, Data Systems, and other personnel in support of study-specific activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participates in the recruitment and screening activities to ensure successful enrollment of volunteers into studies scheduled at the Phase 1 Unit.
• Interfaces with research participants, to support efforts to determine eligibility and consenting of study participants according to protocol (R/S).
• Interacts with the Principal Investigator and other study physicians, Recruiting/Screening department, Data Systems, and other personnel in support of study-specific activities.

Qualification & Experience:

• Fundamental working knowledge of clinical research
• Able to review study protocols and educate study participants as part of the consent process
• Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities while paying close attention to detail
• Able to work in a team driven environment
• Nursing (RN) degree, License (associates, bachelors)
