Position Title: Instructional Designer
Work Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid)
Assignment Duration: 06 Months

Description

• Design learning solutions that close knowledge and skill gaps and that improve individual and organizational performance. Build training resources in support of process and system changes and skill development workshops.
• Design and develop eLearning courses, slide decks, participant guides, learning activities, newsletter issues, and other similar learning resources.
• Partner with subject matter experts to build training materials and update existing eLearning.
• Lead instructional design projects with stakeholders to completion.
• Maintain our eLearning library, updating courses as needed in our learning management system. Support the facilitation of live courses.

Education:

• BA/BS required.

Experience:

1. 3-5 years of training/instructional design or related experience.
2. Experience with Articulate 360 or similar learning design software.

Top 3 – 5 Skills Needed for each role:

• Ability to create learning resources efficiently (eLearning modules, guides, slide decks, etc)
• Strong written communication skills
• Project management skills – ability to track and bring to completion multiple simultaneous projects
• Knowledge and experience of Articulate 360 or similar eLearning authoring software
