Job Description:
- Note: This is a coordinator position and does not perform any accessibility testing. This opportunity deals with managing accessibility audits.
- This position reports to the Product Accessibility Audit Program Manager in the Client’s Product Accessibility and Inclusive Design team.
Responsibilities and deliverables include:
- Manage accessibility audits with third party vendors as part of our audit program which measures our product accessibility relative to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
- Manage and monitor vendors for timely completion of audits and Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs).
- Coordinate accessibility audits with internal product teams following established processes to establish scope, timelines, and measures of success.
- Perform quality reviews of and publish ACRs to external website.
- Recommend improvements for overall coordination of audits to the Audit Program Manager and implement appropriately.
- Timely upload of audit findings to bug tracking system.
- Assist with responding to customer requests regarding product accessibility compliance from internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Two years’ experience in coordinating compliance or accessibility testing or Quality Assurance related projects with external vendors at scale.
- Able to create and maintain relationships with business and technical experts through the company.
- Excellent organizing skills. You have a strong eye for detail and are capable of independently driving projects to completion.
- Great communicator. In particular, you should excel at explaining compliance requirements to diverse audiences (across varying technical and business backgrounds) in a way that fosters understanding and ownership.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets pivot tables and formulas, preferably Google Sheets.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Slack or Teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with product accessibility compliance, including expertise in industry and governmental standards and policy relating to WCAG and other web accessibility standards.
- Experience with client’s products.
